Surveying Eagle

On a trip up Vancouver Island's East Coast my wife and I took a wildlife watching boat tour out of Telegraph Cove. It was a perfect west coast day; foggy, drizzly at times, and filled with majestic animals. This Bald Eagle was one of many we saw that day. He was perched in the lichen draped trees above the cove, surveying his surroundings.
